Complete Oral Care
During your initial visit, we will request that you fill out a detailed Medical History form as well as inform us of any Chief Concerns that you may have. This information will be extremely useful in allowing us to provide the best care and address your most pressing needs. A detailed clinical examination will then follow which consists of a thorough visual/tactile assessment by Dr. Tan (dentist) on both the hard and soft tissues of the oral cavity, accompanied by the use of state-of-the-art digital radiographs.
After the exam, Dr. Tan will discuss with you any dental needs and his unbiased and professional recommendations to meet them. All questions you may have will gladly be answered at this time as well. Patient's input and preferences are always respected and duly noted. Finally, a treatment plan will be devised and presented to each individual patient, tailored specifically to the aforementioned needs.

After a patient’s recommended work is completed, we always recommend the individual to stay on a regular hygiene maintenance schedule. Dr. Tan emphasizes hygiene heavily as both a preventive and upkeep measure to maintain oral health, for without proper maintenance even the best dentistry will erode quickly. Our goal is to help you keep your teeth and gums as healthy as possible and reduce the need for dental work to an absolute minimum.
As an important side note, gum health has been documented by recent research to be strongly linked to a variety of systemic conditions such as heart disease and premature births. Therefore, please pay attention to not only your teeth, but also your gums as well. If your gums bleed easily during activities such as tooth brushing, it may indicate inflammation of the soft tissue requiring either conventional or more specialized cleanings. Contact us immediately to see if you need to address this important aspect of oral health.
